Out of The Depths

When my ways had tangled themselves into an indiscernible maze I stood in silence that rang golden echoing in my temples with the beating of my heart before your shut doors wondering what should I do next.  I had no other place to go.

Then we stood for so, so long sinking in quiet evening light you stretched out a hand through ages of oblivion -

And centuries passed after centuries worlds flashed times and spaces we walked unmeasured distances together the earth itself perished many times and was born again new tribes were born and gone and kingdoms fought, fell, appeared...

A ray of sunlight played with a grain of dust
in the middle of the room.  And the silence was a window into gray eternity.

Just one moment when everything happened one moment that contained the whole world -
I knew what I knew long ago, but now everything was decided for me, and maybe it was meant to be that way...

The Last Day

The endless spaces sing their ancient song, and my whole being rejoices with it.  I cannot let go with my eyes of the fields, sinking in pink light, which drips down from my face.  I see the Sun, rising slowly, raising the veil of day, staring like God's eye through me into the unknown.  And I become not myself anymore, and turn into a source of love and light, or is it the Sun, reflecting in my heart, flowing fire in my blood?  To any creature that shall come up first I'll give the whole of my being, leave nothing behind.  I want to do this now, for I feel I may not live after this day.  So burn, my soul, in those flames!  They bring freedom, for which I long.  It's sweet to give myself away, and dissolve...
And even though tomorrow I shall disappear, I could've embraced the world for this pink light and peace today.

Goodbye, and take my love...
